It was, after all, the most complex and large project in which I had ever been involved. It was part of the master plan that we had developed. It was a high-achieving goal for a municipality. My main role was to develop the design of a performing arts center. We conducted continuous research on the requirements of specific programmes and accomplished performance centres such as Hult Center in Oregon and Wyly in Dallas. After we comprehended the required volumes and their relationship to each other, we decided to put the stage at the core of the building. By putting the stage in the center, we planned to make it open to both sides so that various performances could happen.
